AccountAI for Claude
Connect AccountAI to Claude and work on your books in plain language: ask about cash, customers who owe you, VAT or profit, and — if you allow it — create and post invoices, bills, payments and journal entries. Claude always works as you, with your own permissions.

- Paste the name and the URL.
- Click Add, then sign in with your AccountAI account.
- Choose "Read only" or "Read and write" and click Allow.
"Read only" or "Read and write"
Read only: Claude can look up reports, documents, customers, suppliers, stock, assets, loans and payroll. It cannot change anything.
Read and write: Claude can also create drafts and post records you ask for. Every write asks for your approval in Claude and is retry-safe, so a repeated request never creates a second record.

What Claude can't do
These stay with a person inside AccountAI, even for owners:
- Delete a company
- Delete users, change roles or permissions, invite users
- Subscription and billing
- Change the framework or base currency
- Passwords and sign-in settings
- FTA/FAF evidence settings
- Other connectors
Claude never deletes records: corrections go through cancellation or reversal.
Security and privacy
- Claude acts as you: it sees only the companies you belong to, with your role and permissions in each. It never uses administrator access.
- Sign-in uses OAuth 2.0. Your password never goes to Claude.
- Every call is recorded in your company's activity log.
- Disconnect at any time in Settings → Connect to Claude; access ends on the next call. Owners and admins can revoke any connection in their company.
- Your data is hosted in the EU (eu-west-1, Ireland).
